@batman201ful Can I ask where the man rapes a kid came into this conversation? Gay is not mentioned in the Commandments nor did Jesus say one word about it. He DID 100% condemn the leaders of organized religion & their fanatican followers!

7 verses in the entire Bible mention gay sex; references to male prostitution, concubines, wild hedonism (using men & boys as sex toys), all common in the ancient world.

Being gay is NOT a sin, nor do gay sex acts have ANY religious context of themselves.

@batman201ful Yes I have read Romans many times, it does say men laying with men; and please I am not trying to fight either, just trying to get the Bible verses into context. You did bring up Lev, and that, for me, is way out dated old law-stoning please. Please read Romans 1:18 on. You will find God gave them over - either God gave them (as it says and thus set them up) or God took away their free will and gave them. Doesn't matter as it was talking about Temple prostitutes common then.

@ticktrader i'm not trying to force anythig on anybody and nor could i even if i wanted to. i only stated what i believe . i'm not out to fight,belittle make fun of or convert. you have the right to say what you believe so why can't i have the same right as you? i'm sorry if you thought i was rude or to pushy.forgive me for thwt is not what i'm trying to do.

@chicraig6421 i agree with about  prostitutes, but again it did not say men with prostitutesbut mem with men. and they had already turn from God for thy did not what God had commaned. roman soldiers were encourage to be lovers for you would fight harder to save a lover then a friend. what happens if you keep breaking the law? you have to pay the penitly for you faid to do what is right. when a man rapes a little kid what happens? when he get out of jail will he do it again?

unless you let go of all homosexuality, surrender your will to the Will of God. If you deny yourself and take up the cross it will be very hard. Satan will tempt you at every corner but you will be renewed through Christ Jesus that you will not sin against God.

I disagree with John MacArthur. Yes, Homosexuality is a sin. You dont choose it, though. People are tempted in many different ways and they wish they weren't. I have had friends who were practicing homosexuals then found Christ and then struggled with stopping. They did. but for a long while the temptation was still there. They hated the fact that it was, they wished they could only like woman. Eventually they did. In the same way many christian men wish they were only attracted to their wife.

@chicraig6421 I think you miss understood me. The practice of homosexuality is sin. The temption to sin is not a sin. If one was to marry someone of the same sex that would be sin. To share a relationship with someone in away which is outside of the will of God is a sin. For example, for me to be tempted by a woman is not a sin but the second I give lead way to that temptation in my mind or body I have sinned against God if it is outside of God's version of marriage which is 1 man and 1 woman.

@ChuckNorr1s11 you know I agree with you. I have friends who were married to a women a lie for years and then came out as homo. It works both ways. A theology teacher at Bob Jones U once said to a preacher friend of mine who was a homo something like - God loves you the way you are, gay. But what God will hate is if you put a penis before him interesting words from a fundamentalist theologian. That preacher friend now married to a man (Canada) has a large congregation just north of Vancouver.

@chicraig6421 I agree that all that was going on and then some, but when it says man laying down man as he doese with woman then that can only mean gay. see the Bible doese not list all the sins but romans never said any thing about men with boys its men with men leaving the use of woman. i'm not trying to fight or get anyone mad nor am i saying that i'm right your wrong,its just how i read it. i'm glad that you are talking to me and i keep an open mind about everything.
